ETHNODRAMATOLOGY

Julisa Rowe - Ethnodramatology - Artists in Christian Testimony - "Julisa Rowe has performed and taught drama and worship internationally, most recently in Kenya and India. She is a well-known performer, touring with one-woman dramatizations of missionaries such as Amy Carmichael and Mary Slessor. She and her husband, Bill, also perform and teach extensively through music and drama. They are arts specialists under Artists in Christian Testimony, an affiliation of artists who desire to use their talents for the furthering of God's kingdom. Except for a 2-year hiatus while overseas, Julisa has been involved with the Drama Improvement Conference since its inception. She has a BA in Theatre, an MA in Intercultural Ministries, and a Doctor of Missiology in the field of ethnodramatology, where she focused her research on appropriate and effective ways of using drama in different cultures for Christian communication. She is available for performances, directing projects, training, or consultation on drama in the church and missions." From here

See Cries of the City..."...Our original stage presentation, The Story of Love (page coming soon), has traveled from remote, impoverished villages in Madagascar to the mansions of those in the seat of national power, from the cathedrals of Europe into our own Cleveland inner city neighborhoods...The WorldView Arts Group also provides training seminars and conferences in Africa, Europe, and the USA as we work to envision, equip and empower artists to use their gifts to change their world..."
